Riverview Farms is a certified organic family farm on 150
acres in the beautiful foothills of the Appalachians in Northwest Georgia. Our farm is bordered by the Coosawatee River
which has created the bottomland that we cultivate. The farm has been in operation by the Swancy family for over 30
years and has been certified organic since 2000. Located just an hour north of Atlanta, we raise grass-fed beef, pastured Berkshire pork, and over 30 varieties of vegetables that are available through many small urban
markets, a large CSA, and at restaurants.
Our endeavors are guided by our commitment to producing
organic vegetables and meats using methods that are good for the land, good for the animals, and good for people like you. Our detailed attention to soil quality, animal husbandry, grass production, and diverse crops surpasses organic certification requirements. Our
goal is to work with the environment to enliven the farm through the mutually supported functions of soil, grasses, and animals.
