Early in the morning on December 9, a tornado paid a visit to the farm. Yes, that would be the proverbial freight train sound that woke us up in the middle of the night. All people, animals, and houses were spared, but the winds demolished four barns and twisted our grain elevator, a crucial piece of our infrastructure, off of its foundation.
We're rapidly rebuilding.
Many have offered to help, and we appreciate your concern. We'll be holding a workparty to clean up debris over the December 19 weekend.
